Dr. Mc-G Practicing Medicine

Lots of lessons learned in yesterdays copper class...Always use wire cutters to cut your copper wire, don't use tin snips.
Yesterday Jerry and the whole class learned that lesson and then Winston taught us the benefits of using honey on cuts and why.
Did you know???
Wounds: The high levels of potassium found in raw honey make it very difficult, if not impossible, for bacteria to survive. Applying a thin layer of raw honey to any cut, scrape or scratch is beneficial.

  2. I found out something new later on, too...it should be the "organic" or "health food store" kinds of honey and not the stuff in the "bear bottles" for the most effective healing. :-) The other stuff is too "processed". Hope it's all healed by now! I saw that Amanda had cut both thumbs on her Facebook, at AU. Tanya
